Hmmm... Decided to submit it into sci-fi rather than anime. Why? Because my style has been steadily moving away from anime. XD And it's weird. I think I've finally found my own style. o_o And besides... anime's supposed to be all big eyes and no nose sort of thing? Anyways, here we go. First character information.

character overview:: Kazuma is the heir to the H.U.M.A.N. organisation. He is the son of Hatake Oumi, the founder, who has fought in the war and lost one of his eyes. His stepmother, Sasami, is the hidden manipulator of the organisation. H.U.M.A.N.'s objective is to find the first artificial intelligence unit which was created by H.I.R.O.
Kazuma was sent to work in the rival H.I.R.O. organisation to spy on their activities as it was rumoured that the object of Hatake's search could be found there.

At present, Kazuma works as the head of the security department. The H.I.R.O. organisation is lead by Sakuya Kishimoto, whose flaming red hair strangely resembles that of Kazuma's... However, Kazuma is most of the time preoccupied with important decisions which could alter the course of his life and the life of someone he cares about...

I really liked working on his face. Does he remind you of Cillian Murphy? o_O; But then again... I always like drawing faces. Put so much detail into it, it's not funny. o_O

The background is supposed to be some post-apocalyptic landscape... not that I can draw buildings. *cough* =_=;

I spent so long on this picture... probably about 40 hours. Not all at once of course. Anyway, I think I will touch it up a bit more once my computer is up and running again.
